Click on “Details” for more information A common problem with the 4cycle gas Yamaha Golf Carts driven clutch is when a small, difficult to see, snap ring, that keeps proper tension on the main spring, fails. The snap ring comes out of it’s keeper groove machined into the differential input shaft, and this allows the main spring to loose much of its tension. This adversely affects the pulling power of the drive train. Once the snap ring goes south, a new one will NOT stay in it’s groove. This special collar replaces the snap ring and fixes everything back to normal. The alternative is to disassemble the differential, replace the input shaft and reinstall everything back into the cart. UGLY! This spacer will work on all 4 cycle petrol G2, G8, G9, G11, G14, G16, G20, G21 and G22 Model Yamaha Golf Carts.
